Structure and Advantages of Honeycomb Jacketed Pot

All honeycomb bottoms of the honeycomb jacket structure of the honeycomb jacketed pot are punched with circular holes. The jacket and the cylinder are welded around the circular holes to form a honeycomb structure, integrating the honeycomb jacket with the inner cylinder. Since the honeycomb jacket is welded to the inner cylinder, the inside of the jacket is divided into small rectangular containers bounded by four welding points. The effect of the pressure of the fluid inside the jacket on the jacket and the inner cylinder can be regarded as a square plate with fixed supports around it under uniform load, where the side length of the plate is equal to the distance between adjacent welding points. This method greatly improves the stress condition of the jacket and the inner cylinder. The distance between the honeycomb jacket and the inner cylinder is about 10mm, and the arrangement of the honeycomb points includes two types: square arrangement and triangular arrangement. The distance between the honeycomb points is generally 50mm, 65mm, etc.

This design of the honeycomb jacketed pot greatly improves the heat exchange efficiency, with the processing speed being 2~3 times faster than that of ordinary jacketed pots. It is also more energy-efficient, with the heating energy utilization rate reaching as high as 90%.
